DONATE – GIVE BACK PROJECTS

Dear Family and Friends,

The Charles family originates from Choiseul, Saint Lucia, and now has expanded across the globe, including Europe, North America, South America, Canada and the Caribbean.   

We are inviting you, dear kindred spirits, to join us in sharing our hearts and generosity with the people of Saint Lucia. As the central focus of the Charles Family’s Saint Lucian reunion in July 2018, we will Go Back and Give Back, to Saint Lucia’s under-served.  From raising funds for children’s homes, dilapidated classrooms, housing and food for the abandoned, to a free health expo for the local community: we will Give Back and we invite our friends and family to help.

You will be a partner in helping five local institutions: one school, three children’s homes, and one homeless shelter.  We join forces with The Saint Lucia Mission — a nonprofit organisation. Your charitable donation will be distributed via the Saint Lucia Mission and is tax-deductible (Saint Lucia Mission Tax ID #00071104).

Together, we will fund change in:

1.  Education: The children of Castries SDA Academy (profile attached)
2.  Children’s Homes: Holy Family Children Home; Faustin’s Home; Henry Sisters   Home (profile attached)
3.  Homeless and Abandoned: Cornerstone Humanitarian Society (profile   attached)

Your support in donations and word of mouth is essential, as we have also designed two Give Back projects, which will be open to the people of Saint Lucia:

• a Community Health Expo –  all day on Friday, July 27, 2018, (program attached);
• a Night of Song: Benefit Concert – on Saturday, July 28, 2018, (our hallmark fundraising event), featuring world-renowned gospel singer, Grammy-nominated musical artist, and author, Dr. Wintley Phipps (bio attached).   

We are especially excited to have you join us online, LIVE, on Monday, July 30, 2018, to cheer as we donate the funds raised to these five organisations!

We thank you, our dear family and friends, for giving what you can to generously uplift Saint Lucia’s community spiritually, helping to improve the health of the residents, elevate the education standards, brighten the lives of children, and maintain homes for the abandoned.

Our suggested donation amount is $100, but any contribution amount will be greatly appreciated.

About the Donation Drive

The donation drive will culminate with the giving ceremony that will take place in Saint Lucia on Thursday, August 2, 2018.  The funds received will be distributed to the organizations listed above.  As mentioned, you will have access to view the LIVE giving ceremony.   We will continue to accepted contributions after the ceremony.

A donation of $100 or more will have the greatest positive impact, but any amount you can contribute will make a real difference in the lives of many.
